Summary
Start a podcast, they said.
It’ll be fun, they said.
So we did, and you’ve downloaded it over 100,000 times. That’s pretty cool.
About The TeachThought Podcast
Due to the hard work of TeachThought Professional Development Director Drew Perkins, the TeachThought podcast has reached over 100,000 downloads, surpassing the mark with our most recent episode in July.
In attempting to help you grow, we’ve been forced to grow a lot over the last 12 months, and the podcast was an early move towards that goal of innovation in education. By discussing, clarifying, and celebrating progressive teaching and learning, including the concerted integration of critical thinking and learning teachnology, we are hoping to empower teachers to innovate on a local level–whether in their school or district, or just in their own classroom.
This is a true grass-roots level approach to innovation in education, and is one of several strategies we’re using here at TeachThought.
On a sidenote, I need to start doing podcasts again.
